LSIP Transport & Distribution Skills Cluster

Lancashire Transport & Distribution employers assemble for our first face-to-face Cluster Group meeting. Employers, providers, and key stakeholders will gather at Fox Groups, Hurt Plant Hire to follow up on the important skills and employment issues within the sector. 

This group is for any employer engaged in transportation, storage and logistics whether as the main activity or as part of operations, new participants are always welcome.

The cluster group will continue to discuss some of the key priorities highlighted in the Lancashire Local Skills Improvement Plan, including vehicle mechanics/engineers, aging workforce, warehousing, digital roles, attracting people to the sector and management skills.
