Prosper – Wyre District Careers Event

Wyre Council invite you to their NEW annual job and careers event for people in the Wyre district!
The Lancashire Careers Hub will be working alongside the event organisers to support students from 10 Wyre Secondary schools to attend the event. This exciting new event hopes to become a permanent fixture in the careers landscape in Wyre! The event will also be open to the general public later in the day.
What do we want to achieve?
- Young people to understand the variety of careers and opportunities available to them in the Wyre District and beyond.
- Young people understand the various pathways into employment / careers (Further Education, Apprenticeships, Supported Internships, T-Levels etc).
- Inspire young people into careers they had not previously considered and encourage meaningful encounters.
- Educate young people as to what employers expect from them in the workplace and what employability skills they need in-line with Work Ready Lancashire.
